1 Acceptance of these terms
By opening this site and using any tool on it, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to all of these terms. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use the site. They apply to anonymous visitors, account holders and API callers alike.
2 What this service is
This is a technical toolkit: two-factor code generation, QR reading, password generation, network lookups and a set of converters. Most calculations run on this server; a few lookups must query external services. It is provided free of charge with no commitment as to availability, speed or accuracy.
3 Only use it on what you are entitled to
You agree to use these tools only on data and systems you own or have explicit written permission to test. Specifically:
- Any 2FA secrets, passwords or tokens you enter must be yours, or belong to a system you are responsible for.
- Port checks, latency probes and lookups may only target hosts you own or have been authorised to probe.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the law where you are and where the target systems are located.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account and API keys.
4 Prohibited use
The following are forbidden. Breaching them will get your access blocked immediately, and may be reported to the relevant authorities:
- Scanning, attacking or probing systems you have no authorisation for.
- Bypassing someone else’s two-factor authentication, or processing secrets obtained without permission.
- Sending enough traffic to slow down or disrupt the site, or working around the rate limits.
- Using the site as a stepping stone to reach internal networks, cloud metadata services, or any non-public resource.
- Reselling, renting out or repackaging this service as your own without permission.
- Anything unlawful, or anything that infringes the rights of others.
5 No warranty
The service and all its content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, continuity or non-infringement. The operator does not warrant that any calculation is correct, complete or suitable for your purpose; that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free; or that it is free of harmful components. Verify every result independently before relying on it.
6 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator, the developers and the contributors to this site accept NO liability under any legal theory, contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damage, even if advised in advance that such damage was possible. This includes but is not limited to:
- Loss, corruption or exposure of data, secrets, passwords or API keys.
- Being locked out of a service because a generated code was wrong, a clock was skewed, or the site was unreachable.
- Wrong decisions based on any calculation, lookup or figure shown on this site.
- Business losses, lost revenue, reputational harm, work stoppage or recovery costs.
- The conduct of third parties, including the external services this site calls.
7 Not professional advice
Everything here is technical information, not professional legal, financial, medical or security advice. A contrast score is not a full accessibility audit; a port check is not a security assessment; a unit conversion is not a verified engineering calculation. For anything that matters, consult a qualified professional who carries the corresponding responsibility.
8 The data you enter
You are responsible for everything you paste in. Do not enter live production data into any online tool, including this one, unless you run the server yourself and understand where the data goes. A JWT payload is Base64-encoded, not encrypted; a Wi-Fi password sits in the QR code as plain text. How this site stores and retains data is described on the privacy page.
9 Third-party services
Some lookups must query external services (IP geolocation, WHOIS, DNS, map tiles, MAC vendor). The operator neither controls nor takes responsibility for their accuracy, availability, privacy practices or conduct. Each capability has at least one backup provider, but that is risk reduction, not a guarantee.
10 Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your password, 2FA codes and API keys private, and for telling us promptly if you suspect your account has been compromised. The operator may suspend or delete an account that appears to breach these terms, without prior notice. Dormant accounts may be removed along with their data.
11 Fair use
The site rate-limits each address. Automated access must go through the API with a personal key and respect those limits. Deliberately circumventing them, spreading load across many addresses, or scripting the web interface all count as abuse.
12 Service level
The site is provided free of charge with no uptime commitment. It may be taken down for maintenance, interrupted by events outside the operator’s control, or changed and discontinued at any time without notice. Some tools depend on outside services, which may be slow, wrong or unavailable. Do not build critical processes or production systems on this site being up. The operator may impose usage limits and may refuse service to sources that harm the system.
13 Advertising and running costs
The site is free to use. Server and bandwidth costs are covered by advertising served by third-party ad networks; those networks may set cookies or collect data under their own policies, as described in the Privacy policy. The operator does not review individual ads, does not endorse them, and is not responsible for the products, services or claims that appear in them; any dealing between you and an advertiser is between the two of you. You must not use technical means to hide, selectively block, replace or automatically click the advertising on this site.
14 Intellectual property
The source code, design, interface, wording and data structures of this site are the operator’s property and are protected by law. This is not open-source software: being allowed to use the site grants you no rights in the software behind it. You may not copy, distribute, resell, rent, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to recover the source code, nor build a competing service out of the site’s resources. The results you get from the tools are yours, free to use privately or commercially. Public data the site displays, the IEEE vendor registry, WHOIS and DNS records, map tiles, belongs to its respective owners and keeps their terms.
15 Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect as soon as it appears on this page. Continuing to use the site afterwards means you accept it. The last update date is shown at the top.
16 Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the operator’s place of establishment. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Some consumer rights cannot be excluded under local law; the limitations above apply only to the extent the law permits.
